The Kaushal Disha , under the Department of Vocational Education & Skill Development (VESD), Uttar Pradesh, focuses on enhancing employability of youth through skill development. It coordinates skill development efforts across Uttar Pradesh, bridges the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower, strengthens vocational and technical training frameworks, supports skill upgradation and new skills, and promotes innovation to create future job opportunities. The mission works towards “Sabko Hunar Sabko Kaam”.
Sector Skill Councils (SSCs) are industry-led bodies responsible for defining skill requirements, standards, certification and accreditation for their sectors. SSCs prescribe National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs) aligned with NSQF.
The training provider can visit the UPSDM Portal and check the time-to-time RFP released and posted under the Latest News section.
TPs must provide a CA Certificate for annual turnover on letterhead, stamped and signed with date by the CA, mentioning the CA membership number and firm registration number. Note: No other document will be accepted.
There is no limit to the number of Training Centres (TCs) under any TP. A selected Training Partner through RFP can create as many TCs as they want.
Any candidate from age 14 to 35 years can join. For BOCW workers, the eligible age is 14 to 50 years.
UPSDM offers training across 10+ sectors with 600+ courses.
Based on the course qualification criteria and age eligibility, you can enroll in suitable training programs.
While there is no job guarantee, Training Partners (TPs) may offer placement assistance/assurance as per program guidelines.
